Fahad U. Appointed as Digital Communication Officer, Lead (Climate Change Ministry) at Government of Pakistan.

With an impressive career in strategic communication and public sector media reform, Fahad has been at the forefront of building citizen-centric, transparent, and modern communication systems.

Previously, he served as Strategic Communications Consultant with the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department – EP&CCD, Punjab, where he established the department’s first Digital Communication Cell from the ground up. His journey also includes leading digital media for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, designing campaigns that mobilised millions of young Pakistanis.

Armed with an MA in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Sussex, Fahad specialises in policy storytelling, behaviour change communication, and institutional branding. In this new role, he continues to drive digital engagement for climate action and governance reform.
