Harvard Qualified Chitrali Dentist on a Mission to Redefine Oral Healthcare in Pakistan
Chitrali Dentist Pursuing Harvard Implantology Fellowship to Redefine Oral Health in Pakistan
Noor Dental Clinic (NDC), founded by Dr. Ali Hussain Khan, a proud son of Chitral, is redefining dentistry in Pakistan through its major project “Dentistan”. With seven branches nationwide and a new centre soon opening in Peshawar, NDC is making world-class quality dental care accessible across the country, focusing on excellence and care, research, and community service.
Currently pursuing fellowships in Implants from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Ali brings global expertise to local needs. Through Dentistan, he mentors young dentists, unites the profession under shared ethics and service, and leads community outreach from free dental camps to new collaborations with United Hospital Karachi.
According to Dr Ali Hussain Khan:
“While Pakistan has only one dentist for every 7,100 people, far below the global standard of one for every 2,000, the gap is not just numerical; it is human. It means millions without access to quality oral healthcare. Dentistry in Pakistan is not just a profession; it is a responsibility. From Chitral to Karachi, our vision is to give this field a shared identity, one that unites science with service, skill with empathy, and practice with purpose
