PM Shehbaz Sharif Demands Return of Pakistanis on Gaza Aid Flotilla
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday appreciated the dignified participation of Pakistani nationals in the Sumud Flotilla, a humanitarian mission to Gaza, and demanded their safe return after Israeli forces intercepted the aid convoy.
In a post on X, the prime minister praised Pakistani citizens, including Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Mazhar Saeed Shah, Wajahat Ahmed, Dr. Osama Riaz, Ismail Khan, Syed Aziz Nizami, and Fahad Ishtiaq, among others, who joined the Gaza aid flotilla to deliver humanitarian relief.
“This initiative represents the peace-loving aspirations of the Pakistani people, their struggle for justice, and their spirit of helping those in need,” PM Shehbaz remarked.
He reaffirmed that the Government of Pakistan fully supports the principles of respect for human life, safe access, and uninterrupted humanitarian aid to Gaza, while demanding the swift and dignified return of its citizens.
