Khurram Mumtaz Appointed as Chief Digital Officer & Head of TB/Corporate solutions at UBL

Khurram Mumtaz has stepped into the role of Chief Digital Officer and Head of TB Corporate Solutions at UBL – United Bank Limited.

His career spans more than two decades across leading global and regional institutions where he has driven digital transformation, product innovation, and large-scale business growth. Before joining UBL – United Bank Limited, he led Neo Retail at Mashreq, where he advanced digital banking, consumer solutions, and customer experience. His tenure at Standard Chartered included senior leadership roles in digital and data, secured lending, deposits, and employee banking, where he strengthened digital capabilities and built high-impact product portfolios.

He also spent nearly ten years at Citi in key positions, including Area Manager South, Controls and Policy Head, and Branch Management, where he enhanced governance standards and retail operations. His diverse expertise across digital strategy, product development, data-driven transformation, and corporate solutions positions him as a key driver of UBL’s digital and transaction banking ambitions.
