Haris Irfan Promoted to Senior SQA Automation Analyst at Contour Software

Haris Irfan has been promoted to Senior SQA Automation Analyst at Contour Software, recognizing his continued contributions to software quality assurance and test automation excellence.

With over 5 years of experience in software testing and automation engineering, Haris has built strong expertise in designing scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. His work primarily focuses on Playwright based automation frameworks, along with tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, enabling efficient end to end testing and improved software quality.

During his tenure at Contour Software, he has played a key role in increasing automated test coverage, developing robust automation frameworks using TypeScript, JavaScript, and .NET, and integrating automated testing pipelines with Azure DevOps and CI/CD environments to enhance testing efficiency and delivery speed.

Alongside his industry role, Haris is actively contributing to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, and as Visiting Faculty at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, where he teaches courses related to software engineering, software testing, and software architecture.

He holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), graduating with academic distinction as a Bronze and Silver Medalist.
