Muhammad Irfan Appointed as Unit Head Credit – International Banking Group at National Bank of Pakistan
Muhammad Irfan has been appointed as Unit Head Credit – International Banking Group at National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) reflecting his extensive expertise in commercial banking and SME financing.
With over a decade of experience across leading financial institutions, he has developed strong capabilities in sales generation, credit risk management, and customer relationship management. His career journey includes key roles at Bank Alfalah Limited, Bank of Khyber (BoK), Faysal Bank Limited, and HBL, where he steadily progressed through critical positions in SME and commercial banking.
Prior to joining NBP, his tenure at HBL, Irfan has successfully led credit operations as Unit Head Credit Factory, ensuring efficient credit processing and risk assessment while maintaining regulatory compliance. His leadership has contributed to strengthening SME portfolios and enhancing operational performance.
In his current role at NBP, he will led credit portfolio of overseas branches worldwide and focus on financing growth, team leadership, and driving business development initiatives aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
