Mian Muhammad Mehmood has embarked on a new chapter in his distinguished banking career by joining National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) as Credit Analyst, Program Lending (Risk Management). With over 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of extensive experience in Agriculture Finance, Credit Risk, and Rural Banking, he brings a proven track record of portfolio management, credit analysis, and strategic lending across Pakistan’s banking sector.

Before joining National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), he served as Senior Agriculture Finance Officer (AVP-II) and Credit Analyst Business (Agriculture) at JS Bank, where he played a pivotal role in evaluating agriculture credit proposals, managing high-value lending portfolios, supporting State Bank of Pakistan financing schemes, and strengthening risk management practices. Earlier in his career, he also served at Askari Bank, laying a strong foundation in agriculture credit and banking operations.

He holds a Master of Science (Hons.) in Livestock Management and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Agriculture from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. His academic background, combined with specialized certifications in agriculture finance and banking, reflects his commitment to professional excellence and the development of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
