Trainee Trade Officer – Batch 2026

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution .
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years .
• Gender: Females are strongly encouraged to apply .
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply .

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure trade customer documentation complies with the Bank’s internal policies and SBP regulations for import and export transactions .
• Review and process documentation related to Letters of Credit, contracts, exports, guarantees, and direct/advance payments .
• Oversee end-to-end trade document processing, including negotiation, discrepancy resolution, verification, authorization, timely dispatch, and record maintenance .
• Coordinate with business teams and customers to resolve documentation lapses and obtain clarity on trade finance transactions .
• Implement OFAC and CPI checks for trade customers to ensure compliance .

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills .
• Attention to detail and learning aptitude .
• Knowledge of import/export documentation management, trade compliance, and regulatory compliance .
• Foundational knowledge of Islamic banking principles is an added advantage .
