K-Electric Appoints Adeeb Ahmad as Interim CEO

K-Electric has appointed Adeeb Ahmad as Interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect, following the resignation of Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi.

The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors during a meeting held on February 13, 2026, and was formally disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange in compliance with the relevant provisions of the Securities Act, 2015 and the PSX Rule Book.

According to the company, the interim appointment aligns with its earlier notification issued on February 6, 2026 regarding the CEO’s resignation. K-Electric also confirmed that the board has initiated an accelerated search to identify and appoint a permanent Chief Executive Officer, ensuring leadership continuity and operational stability during the transition period.
