Ahsan Umar Appointed as CEO & Country Manager at Bata Pakistan

Ahsan Umar has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and Country Manager at Bata Pakistan Limited, marking a significant leadership milestone in the country’s retail and consumer goods landscape. With over two decades of diversified experience, he brings a strong blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and retail transformation expertise.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Commercial Director at Bata Pakistan, where he played a key role in driving commercial strategy, modern merchandising practices, and business growth. His earlier leadership roles include Director Operations at Masood Textile Mills Limited, where he led end-to-end manufacturing operations and successfully transformed conventional setups into digitally enabled, sustainable fashion manufacturing units.

His career also includes senior leadership positions at Crescent Textile Mills Limited, Service Sales Corporation, and CSD Super Markets, with extensive responsibility across large-scale retail networks, supply chain, operations, and full P&L management. Backed by an Executive MBA in Strategy and Leadership from LUMS and an MS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from UMT, Ahsan Umar is well-positioned to lead Bata Pakistan into its next phase of growth and customer-centric innovation.
