Amir Qassim Appointed as Head of Finance at United Energy Central Asia

Amir Qassim has stepped into a key leadership role as Head of Finance at United Energy Central Asia, bringing over 15 years of cross-sector financial leadership across oil and gas, power generation, fertilizers, FMCG, and commodity trading.

A Fellow Chartered Accountant, Amir has built an impressive career leading finance, taxation, and internal audit functions for some of the region’s top companies, including Engro Group, IFFCO, and PWC. Notably, he led one of Pakistan’s largest SAP S/4HANA transformation projects at Engro Group, enabling world-class automation and efficiency that earned two international awards.

In his new role, Amir will oversee strategic financial planning, governance, and risk management while driving growth across UEG’s expanding Central Asian operations. His career reflects a strong blend of technical expertise, visionary leadership, and a transformation-driven mindset.
