Atif Bajwa Driving Strategic Banking Leadership as President & CEO of Bank Alfalah

Mr. Atif Bajwa brings over 40 years of international experience in executive leadership across banking, corporate boards, and public-interest institutions. He began his career with Citi in 1982 and has since held senior roles in major local and multinational banks, including President/CEO of Bank Alfalah Limited, President/CEO of MCB Bank Limited and Soneri Bank Limited, Regional Head of Citigroup for Central and Eastern Europe, Head of Consumer Banking for ABN AMRO – Asia Pacific region, and Country Manager of ABN AMRO.

Beyond banking, Mr. Bajwa has been active in business advocacy and social impact initiatives. He has served as Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC), President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI), and as a Director on boards of multiple public and private sector companies.

Mr. Bajwa holds a degree from Columbia University, New York. His extensive leadership experience, both domestically and internationally, underscores his deep understanding of banking, corporate governance, and the intersection of business and social development.
