Awais Vohra Appointed as Acting CEO of Telenor Pakistan

Telenor has appointed Awais Vohra as Acting Chief Executive Officer following its transition into an autonomous subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited after the completion of all regulatory approvals.

The Board of Directors recognized the leadership of Fridtjof Rusten, who successfully steered the organization through a complex acquisition and regulatory process while ensuring operational continuity and maintaining customer confidence.

Despite the acquisition by PTCL.Official, Telenor will continue to operate as a separate legal entity alongside Pak Telecom Mobile Limited, Ufone 4G, and U Microfinance Bank Limited, ensuring uninterrupted services and a clear strategic focus.
