Bachaa Party, one of Pakistan’s leading retail brands, is hiring an experienced professional for the role of Manager – Financial Reporting & Budgeting. This senior finance position is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and retail financial analysis.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
Ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Conducting variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
Developing financial dashboards and management reports for senior leadership
Leading the annual budgeting process across departments and retail outlets
Preparing rolling forecasts based on sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and market conditions
Collaborating with commercial, supply chain, and retail operations teams to align financial plans
Identifying financial risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actions
Analyzing sales performance by category, store, and region to improve profitability
Evaluating gross margins, discount strategies, and promotional effectiveness
Monitoring operating expenses (OPEX) and suggesting efficiency improvements
Supporting inventory management through stock turnover, aging, and markdown analysis
Required Qualifications and Experience
Professional finance qualification preferred: ACCA, CA, CPA, or CIMA
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and budgeting
Retail or FMCG sector experience will be an advantage
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and BI tools such as Power BI
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management reporting
Sound commercial acumen with understanding of retail KPIs
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
