Daniyal Soomro Appointed as Manager Taxation at Sana Safinaz

Daniyal Soomro has stepped into the role of Manager Taxation at Sana Safinaz, strengthening the organization’s tax governance, compliance, and legal interface with tax authorities. A licensed Income Tax Practitioner and member of the Karachi Tax Bar Association, he brings hands on expertise in corporate taxation, tax planning, regulatory compliance, and tax advisory, along with active involvement in tax audits, assessment proceedings, and litigation support.

With a strong professional background across leading groups including Pathfinder Group, Hilal Group, OJEIL and Softax, Daniyal has managed complex direct and indirect tax matters, withholding tax monitoring, federal and provincial filings, and regulatory coordination with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other authorities. His experience also includes representation during audits and assessments, responding to show-cause notices, and supporting tax dispute resolution in coordination with legal counsel.
