Pakistani scientist Dr. Muhammad Mujtaba Wins Prestigious International Award and €10,000 Prize in Finland
Pakistani scientist Dr. Muhammad Mujtaba has been honored with Finland’s Young Researcher Award 2025, receiving a €10,000 prize in recognition of his pioneering research on sustainable bio-based materials.
His work centers on transforming natural resources such as cellulose and chitin into eco-friendly substitutes for harmful chemicals commonly used in consumer products. Originally from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Mujtaba currently serves as a Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
His innovative research holds immense potential for advancing green technologies and helping countries like Pakistan minimize plastic waste while fostering sustainable industrial growth.
