Global Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd., a fast-growing and progressive leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is expanding its engineering team at our state-of-the-art facility in Model Town, Humak, Islamabad. We are seeking dedicated, skilled, and experienced engineering professionals to join us as Assistant Managers in HVAC & Utilities, Electrical, and Mechanical domains.

Available Positions & Key Responsibilities

1. Assistant Manager – HVAC & Utilities

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the operation and maintenance (preventive, predictive, breakdown) of HVAC systems and critical utilities.
• Overseeing systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Compressors, and Vacuum systems.
• Monitoring BMS/EMS, ensuring alarm handling, and maintaining documentation.
• Leading HVAC & utility qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) and requalification activities.
• Driving energy optimization, cost control, and ensuring 100% EHS & regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in HVAC & utilities within pharmaceuticals or a regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with GMP-compliant systems.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, cGMP, WHO, FDA guidelines.
• HVAC/GMP certification is a plus.

2. Assistant Manager – Electrical

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution networks.
• Ensuring electrical safety, statutory compliance, and EHS adherence across production, labs, and warehouses.
• Preparing SOPs, maintenance schedules, and supporting equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Troubleshooting electrical faults, conducting RCA, and implementing CAPAs.
• Managing technicians, spare parts, and supporting audits.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 5-8 years of electrical maintenance experience in pharma or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise with HT/LT systems, DG sets, and plant electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CMMS/SAP and regulatory standards (GMP, FDA).
• Electrical safety/GMP certification is advantageous.

3. Assistant Manager – Mechanical

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining production equipment (OSD, injectables, packaging lines) and utilities (compressed air, water systems, boilers).
• Coordinating with production, QA, and validation teams to ensure GMP compliance.
• Leading troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for mechanical failures.
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Managing technicians, controlling maintenance costs, and supporting audits.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with pharma production equipment and utilities.
• Knowledge of SAP/CMMS and pharmaceutical processes.
• Maintenance management/GMP certification is preferred.
