M. Aamir Iqbal Recently Joined as HR Business Partner at IBA

M. Aamir Iqbal (CHRP, CPHR) has recently joined Institute of Business Administration as HR Business Partner, marking a significant step in his distinguished HR leadership journey across Pakistan’s banking and higher education sectors.

With extensive experience in rewards strategy, HR services, policy governance, and HRIS implementation, Aamir brings a strong blend of strategic vision and operational excellence. Prior to this role, he served as Manager Rewards and Services at Habib University, where he led comprehensive HR policy design, performance management cycles, compensation frameworks, and successfully spearheaded the implementation of a modern HRIS to enhance data integrity and organizational efficiency.

Earlier, at First Women Bank, he played a pivotal role in centralizing payroll operations and implementing HRMS solutions, strengthening governance and compliance frameworks. His tenure at Bank Alfalah Limited and Burj Bank Limited further solidified his expertise in rewards strategy, performance appraisal systems, payroll governance, employee share schemes, and succession planning.

Holding an MPA in HR and Finance from Karachi University and professional credentials from The Institute of Bankers Pakistan, Aamir combines academic depth with hands on leadership experience in complex, regulated environments.

His transition into the HR Business Partner role reflects his capability to align people strategy with institutional objectives, foster high performance cultures, and drive sustainable organizational growth.
