Saqib Qayyum Tops World in ACCA Taxation with 98 Marks, Pakistan’s Pride
Saqib Qayyum has achieved global recognition by securing the highest marks worldwide in the ACCA Taxation exam, scoring an exceptional 98 marks out of 100 in the September 2025 session. This follows his earlier distinction as a world topper in the ACCA Financial Reporting exam, where he scored 97 marks, along with two national distinctions in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. His consistent excellence reflects both his dedication and the remarkable academic potential emerging from Pakistan.
Saqib expressed gratitude to his mentor, Sir Mustafa Mirchawala of Mirchawala’s Hub of Accountancy for his invaluable guidance and mentorship throughout his ACCA journey. He credited Sir Mustafa for his motivational teaching style, which instills confidence and discipline among students preparing for their exams.
Alongside his ACCA studies, Saqib is also pursuing an LLB from the University of London, demonstrating his ability to manage two demanding academic paths with exceptional performance. He acknowledged Sir Shahzaib Asif and Ma’am Veshal Jaffry of VLS for their expert instruction and support, which played a key role in his strong performance in the UOL LLB examinations.
Transitioning from a Science background in O Levels to Commerce in A Levels, Saqib has carved an inspiring journey as a first-generation law student and aspiring corporate lawyer. He aims to integrate his financial and legal expertise to specialize in business and corporate law, representing Pakistan internationally.
He attributes his success to his unwavering faith in Allah, the prayers of his parents and teachers, and his belief in perseverance. Saqib emphasizes that with a clear vision and consistent effort, anyone can achieve excellence and make their mark on the world.
