Syed Hurr Abbas 呼儿 has been promoted to Vice President – Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding at Askari Bank, marking a significant milestone in his dynamic journey across banking and global talent strategy.

With nearly a decade of progressive experience in recruitment leadership, employer branding, and data-driven hiring practices, Hurr has consistently built high-performing teams aligned with business KPIs. At Askari Bank, he has led nationwide hiring across Retail, Corporate, Investment Banking, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Support Functions, while strengthening employer branding and candidate experience frameworks.

Prior to this role, he contributed to global technical recruitment at Cialfo and played a pivotal role in talent analytics and strategic resourcing at Standard Chartered. His ability to combine talent acquisition with analytics, workforce forecasting, and branding strategy has positioned him as a forward-thinking HR leader.
