Talha Khan Joins Nokia as Network Engineer

Talha Khan has stepped into a new role as Network Engineer at Nokia, bringing his passion for photonics, electrical engineering, and core network operations into one of the world’s leading telecom environments.

Talha now contributes to Nokia’s Network Operations Center, where he supports core domains and ensures stable, high performing network operations. His responsibilities include alarm monitoring, fault detection, KPI analysis, incident troubleshooting, and coordination with field and backend teams, all contributing to seamless service delivery for customers.

His technical foundation is built on hands on experience across leading engineering setups. During his internships at WAPDA Tarbela Power House and Chip Soul Technology (SMC-Private) Limited, Talha gained practical exposure to power generation, protection systems, SCADA monitoring, PCB design, and electronic circuit development. He also worked on photonic and electrical engineering concepts, strengthening his understanding of light based technologies and advanced electronic systems.

Talha is a graduate of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Engineering Sciences, where he actively balanced academics with sports, university clubs, and technical engagements. His continuous learning mindset and commitment to both engineering and innovation reflect strongly in his career growth.
