Umair Mangi Appointed as Manager Production at Indus Pharma

UMAIR MANGI has advanced to the role of Manager Production at Indus Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd., marking another significant milestone in his progressive pharmaceutical career spanning over a decade in sterile and non sterile manufacturing operations.

Prior to this elevation, he served at The SEARLE Company Ltd. in multiple leadership capacities, including Associate Production Manager and Assistant Manager Production Sterile. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening cGMP compliance frameworks, optimizing production KPIs, enhancing labor hour utilization, and driving audit readiness across departments.

His professional journey also includes impactful contributions at OBS Pakistan Pvt. Ltd., ATCO Laboratories Limited, and Macter International Limited, where he led sterile production operations across vial, ampoule, liquid manufacturing, and packing sections. Umair has consistently demonstrated expertise in SAP S 4 HANA operations, batch manufacturing record management, validation processes, equipment qualification, SOP development, CAPA coordination, and regulatory audit preparedness.

A Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Sindh, and currently enrolled in MPhil Pharmaceutics, Umair brings strong technical knowledge combined with operational leadership, team development, and continuous improvement capabilities.
