Umar Jamal Siddiqui Appointed as Auditor (Inland Revenue Withholding Tax Zone) at FBR

Umer Jamal has embarked on a new chapter as Auditor (Inland Revenue Withholding Tax Zone) at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), bringing a strong foundation in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and compliance. As an ACCA professional with diverse experience across finance and audit functions, he is set to contribute his expertise to public-sector financial oversight.

Prior to joining Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Umar served as Account Officer at Sukkur IBA University, where he handled financial statements, cash flow reporting, outward payments, bank reconciliation, and internal and external audit coordination. His earlier experience as Audit Officer at Sindh Rural Support Organization further strengthened his expertise in IFRS, IAS, financial verification, accounting systems, and fraud prevention.

With professional experience spanning education, nonprofit, and corporate environments, Umar combines technical accounting knowledge with practical expertise in audit and financial management.
