Abdul Basit, Muhammad Promoted to Senior Internal Auditor at Allied Bank Limited

ABDUL BASIT, MUHAMMAD has taken on a new role as Senior Internal Auditor at Allied Bank Limited, bringing with him over 5 years of rich experience in audits, compliance, investigations, and banking operations within the banking sector. His expertise lies in leading branch and management audits, conducting investigations, and ensuring regulatory adherence through robust control mechanisms.

Previously, Basit served as Banking Services Officer and Banking Services Manager, where he successfully drived banking operations, sales – marketing relationship and strengthened governance practices. His journey with Allied Bank Limited began as a Management Trainee Officer, gradually expanding his responsibilities and establishing a track record of operational excellence and process improvement.

Holding an MS in Human Resource Management from the University of the Punjab and a BBA in Marketing from Government College University, Faisalabad , Basit combines technical banking knowledge with strategic decision-making and people-focused leadership. In his new role, he continues to drive audit quality and contribute to the financial institution’s risk management framework.
