Engro Fertilizers Ltd has appointed Imran Ahmed as its new Chief Executive Officer

Engro Fertilizers Ltd has appointed Imran Ahmed as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 11, 2026, following approval by the company’s Board of Directors. The appointment will remain in effect until the next election of directors.

He succeeds former CEO Ali Rathore, under whose leadership the company achieved record urea production and strengthened operational performance despite challenges such as gas supply constraints, inflationary pressures, and difficulties within the agriculture sector.

As one of Pakistan’s leading fertilizer manufacturers, Engro Fertilizers operates major production facilities in Daharki and Port Qasim and is widely recognized for its flagship fertilizer brands, Zarkhez and Zingro.

With this leadership transition, Imran Ahmed is expected to guide the company’s strategic direction, support operational excellence, and contribute to Engro Fertilizers Ltd’s continued focus on agricultural growth, innovation, and long term sustainability in Pakistan’s fertilizer industry.
