Even before SpaceX Falcon 9 Hit the Moon, Pakistani Innovator Sarah Peracha’s was first in 2025 with her SpaceEOL Protocols 2040 research which introduces a forward-looking concept for managing space debris through pre-positioned mini-satellites stationed near high-risk orbital corridors. The proposed architecture focuses on predicting potential risks, positioning autonomous responders, and activating them on demand to help detumble or divert hazardous debris.
The concept could potentially be extended beyond Earth orbit into cislunar space, where autonomous response spacecraft might one day be positioned along strategically selected Earth-Moon corridors.
