Dr. Aqib Riaz Appointed as Postdoctoral Researcher at SCUT, China

Dr. Aqib Riaz journey, from a small village with limited resources to contributing at the forefront of global scientific research, reflects what consistent effort, academic excellence, and long term commitment can achieve.

Beginning in a government primary school, Dr. Aqib Riaz continued his academic journey through Higher Secondary education, earned a BS in Physics, pursued an MPhil alongside full time teaching responsibilities, and eventually secured a fully funded CSC Scholarship to complete his PhD at Tiangong University, China. During his doctoral research, he published 20 international research articles as First and Second Author, earning recognition through the Best Researcher of the Year and Best Student of the Year 2025 awards. Today, he serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the South China University of Technology, one of China’s leading research universities.
