Qualification: A Master’s degree in Human Resources or Public Administration is required. A law degree is preferred.

Job Summary:

Key responsibilities include maintaining industrial peace, guiding supervisors on workplace safety and employee induction, leading union negotiations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and agreements, overseeing payroll and benefits for NMPT staff, monitoring labour-related cases and risks, improving processes and tracking mechanisms, and enhancing the team’s knowledge of applicable factory acts and labour laws. The role also involves contributing to the development and implementation of Industrial Relations (IR) policies and practices, providing professional guidance to departments, and leading the Personnel and IR section at the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain industrial peace and harmony at the plant.
• Guide supervisors on workplace safety and employee induction.
• Lead union negotiations and manage collective bargaining.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and agreements.
• Oversee payroll and benefits for NMPT staff.
• Monitor labour-related cases and risks.
• Improve processes and tracking mechanisms.
• Enhance team knowledge of applicable factory acts and labour laws.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of IR policies and practices.
• Provide professional guidance to departments on personnel matters.
• Lead the Personnel and IR section at the plant.
