From a Waiter to a Brand Owner: The Inspiring Journey of M.Adnan Gulzar
Every remarkable journey begins somewhere, and for M. Adnan Gulzar, it began behind the scenes of a restaurant, with a simple job and a dream much bigger than his circumstances.
In 2015, Adnan started working at Salt’n Pepper Multan as a Back Boy and Waiter. It was a humble beginning, but he never saw it as something small. Every shift became an opportunity to learn. Every challenge taught him patience. Every guest he served brought him one step closer to understanding the hospitality industry.
Years passed, and with hard work, dedication, and an unwillingness to give up, Adnan continued to grow. He learned the business from the ground up, experienced the pressures of restaurant operations, and slowly transformed himself from someone serving at the table into someone capable of leading an entire operation.
Then, in 2023, came a milestone that once seemed like a distant dream. Adnan stepped into the role of General Manager at Flames by Zaytoon, Buch Villas. The person who had once started as a waiter was now responsible for leading operations and teams.
But for Adnan, reaching a management position was not the destination. It was preparation for something even bigger.
Today, he has taken another courageous step, moving from serving someone else’s brand to building his own.
He has launched TBH, The Broast House, his very own food truck brand.
What makes this achievement special is not simply the launch of a business. It is the story behind it. Every experience, every long day, every lesson learned in hospitality, and every challenge faced along the way has become part of this new beginning.
From a waiter to a General Manager, and now from an employee to a brand owner, M. Adnan Gulzar’s journey proves that your starting point does not define your destination.
Sometimes, the person serving the dream today is the person who will own the dream tomorrow.
His story is a reminder to everyone starting from the bottom:
Never underestimate a small beginning. With dedication, patience, and belief in yourself, even the longest journey can lead to something of your own
