Junaid Iqbal Appointed Engro Group CEO, to Take Charge in April 2027

Engro Corporation has appointed Junaid Iqbal as its next President and CEO, with the leadership transition set to take effect in April 2027.

Iqbal, who currently serves as an advisor to the CEO of Engro Holdings, will succeed Ahsan Zafar Syed upon completion of his term.

He brings experience in scaling businesses, leading major operations, and managing significant corporate transactions. Engro said Iqbal will work closely with the company’s businesses and operations during the transition period.

Ahsan Zafar Syed will continue as CEO until April 2027 and will subsequently serve as counsel to the Chairman of Engro Holdings.
