Maira Arshad Appointed as Assistant Manager Planning & Reporting at Hico Ice Cream

Maira Arshad has joined Hico Ice Cream as Assistant Manager Planning & Reporting, bringing a strong blend of expertise in production planning, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and operational excellence to the organization.

Prior to this role, Maira served as Junior Manager Production / Continuous Improvement at Pakistan Fruit Juice Company Ltd, where she contributed to process optimization, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean manufacturing initiatives, and production performance enhancement. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a Quality Assurance Executive, gaining valuable experience in quality management, product development, internal audits, food safety, and production hygiene.

Beyond the manufacturing sector, Maira served as a Lecturer of Microbiology at Doctors Hospital & Medical Centre, reflecting her strong academic foundation. She holds an M.Phil in Microbiology from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and is a Gold Medalist, demonstrating excellence in both academics and professional practice.

With a diverse background spanning Planning & Reporting, Continuous Improvement, Production Management, Quality Assurance, TPM, Lean Practices, and Process Excellence, Maira’s appointment further strengthens Hico Ice Cream’s commitment to operational efficiency and continuous business improvement.
