The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), engaged in promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining general control of the game, is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join its team. We are currently hiring for three key positions in Finance and Procurement. Available Positions
- Finance Officer

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Record accounts payable and bank payments for settlement of payables.
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
Organize and maintain financial documents and filing systems.
Assist during audits by gathering required documentation.
Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience required in the relevant field.
Competency Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Moderate Excel skills and a good understanding of ERP systems.
Excellent proficiency with computers, especially MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint).
High numeracy and sound technical skills.

- Manager Procurement

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Implement and manage procurement and contracting strategies aligned with PCB’s objectives.
Manage sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contracting processes across diverse categories.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, PPRA Rules, and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier and service contracts to ensure performance, value, and risk mitigation.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operational teams to ensure alignment of contractual obligations with PCB’s objectives.
Maintain a central repository of all procurement and contract documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC recognized university.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in large or public sector organizations.
Competency Requirements:
Strong knowledge of contract law, PPRA Rules, and public sector procurement frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability.

- Assistant Manager Accounts & Budget

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Support in supervising daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and general ledger.
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor budget utilization and perform variance analysis, highlighting key trends and issues to the Manager.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
Perform and review ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Coordinate with departments to track expenditures against approved budgets.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s Degree or Professional Accounting degree holder will be preferred).
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and budgeting.
Competency Requirements:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
