We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Director / HOD – Data Science & Research Department

Company: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)
Location: Islamabad
Department: Data Science & Research Department
Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Economics, Law, Mathematics, Finance, Business Studies, or any other relevant background from an HEC-recognized institution. CFA qualification will be preferred.
Experience: At least 15 Years of progressively responsible post-qualification relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in insurance, NBFC, and securities markets.
Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 50 years as of the closing date.

Key Requirements:

• Candidates holding a CFA qualification will be preferred, particularly those with research and analytical skills related to insurance, NBFC, and securities markets.
• Appointment shall be made on a contractual basis for a term of three (3) years, extendable on organizational need and performance.
• The Commission may consider regularization of the position after completion of three (3) years, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed criteria.

Joint Director – Information Systems & Technology Division (IS&TD)

Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university/institute. Professional-level certifications in Network and Cybersecurity will be preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet NSE).
Experience: At least 10 Years of post-qualification experience related to Network Communication and IT Operations.
Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 45 years as of the closing date.

Assistant Director – Listed and Unlisted Companies Supervision Department (Supervision Division)

Experience: At least 3 Years of post-qualification experience in corporate regulation, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance, audit, accounting, capital markets, or related areas. For Qualified Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be considered part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as of the closing date. Candidates with at least 3 years’ experience working with a regulator will be given age relaxation of 5 years.

Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Law, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution; or CA/ACCA/CMA.
Experience: At least 3 Years of post-qualification experience in regulatory bodies, financial institutions, capital market, insurance, NBFCs, corporate/legal affairs, regulatory compliance, licensing, or related areas. Qualification: LL.B or LL.M from an HEC-recognized University. The applicant must be enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court for the last 1 year with an active practice. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the Bar at Law qualification after LL.B. or have obtained an LL.M. degree and have proven experience in regulatory bodies, companies, and corporate litigation & practice.
Experience: At least 3 Years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate-related litigation and prosecution including 1 year experience as advocate of High Court.
Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as of the closing date. Candidates with at least 3 years of work experience with a regulator will be given age relaxation of 5 years.
