Assistant Manager – HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably in building and office environments.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in incident investigation tools (e.g., Root Cause Analysis) and HSE management software.
- Familiarity with risk assessments, tool box talks, HSE audits, and emergency response planning.
Key Responsibilities (Based on Industry Standards):
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures aligned with building safety standards.
- Promote awareness through trainings, workshops, campaigns, and safety talks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, HSE audits, and inspections.
- Investigate incidents and near misses using Root Cause Analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
- Maintain HSE documentation and reports.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
