1️⃣ Head of Training – EPD Pakistan

Job Summary:

Train sales forces for accomplishment of their sales/field functions effectively. Lead the development and execution of the commercial training and capability strategy for EPD Pakistan aligned with business priorities and the regional training agenda. Build capabilities through onboarding, product and disease knowledge, selling skills, field coaching, leadership development, and launch readiness programs while evaluating learning effectiveness through agreed performance indicators.

Principal Duties:

• Contribute to selection of new hires on trainability, selling aptitude, and core competencies on assigned products.
• Ensure training of new hires by imparting training on medical background, product profile, competition, and selling skills through sales trainers and self.
• Arrange orientation for new hires on SFA, AER, policies/benefits, COBC, distribution, EHS, office procedures, and BTB/BTW to ensure effective onboarding and readiness for field responsibilities.
• Organize and arrange mandatory training for new HOS, RSM/TFLM on reallocated products (if any), job orientation, recruitment & selection, coaching/counselling skills, and other identified training needs.
• Own and execute the annual commercial capability plan aligned with Pakistan’s business priorities and the regional training agenda.
• Prepare and publicize the annual training calendar and ensure complete and timely accomplishment of all training schedules.
• Lead the development and implementation of capability-building initiatives for sales teams and people managers, including field coaching, leadership development, and effective application of learning in the field.
• Assess sales forces on SFA KPIs, identify capability gaps, and develop action plans and targeted training interventions to improve individual and team performance.
• Arrange training sessions to update and refresh product and disease knowledge of the sales force through face-to-face and eLearning platforms (SumTotal).
• Arrange and impart refresher training to identified TMs, RSMs, KAMs, TTMs, and TFLMs based on business requirements and identified development needs.
• Develop and oversee launch readiness plans for new product introductions, including training curricula, product manuals, knowledge assessments, certification requirements, and field-force preparedness.
• Develop training manuals for NPIs in collaboration with Medical and Marketing and ensure approval through Veeva.
• Ensure upload of manuals for the entire product portfolio on SumTotal.
• Ensure upload of quizzes for all portfolios on SumTotal to assess and update product knowledge and selling skills.
• Generate and share quiz performance reports with respective HoS, HoT, and DOS to support capability development and performance improvement.
• Manage the user database on SumTotal and provide oversight of learning management system utilization and effectiveness.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through onboarding readiness, proficiency improvement, coaching quality, field application of learning, and closure of identified capability gaps.
• Lead, manage, and develop the training team through objective setting, performance management, coaching, development planning, and succession planning for all direct reports.
• Prepare and manage the annual training budget and oversee relationships with external training vendors and learning partners.
• Ensure governance, approval, compliance, and version control of all training materials, manuals, assessments, and learning content.
• Follow up and ensure timely completion of all Global Initiatives and Projects.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Knowledge of basic medical and product profile & their competitive edge.
• Selling skills, customer handling with social styles.
• Experience of field sales management of at least five years.
• Experience as Training Manager at least five years.

2️⃣ Medical Science Liaison – Biosimilars & Oncology

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for the medical and scientific support of the Biosimilars and Oncology portfolio, including key EPD brands. The role will ensure that all scientific activities and stakeholder interactions are conducted in accordance with corporate guidelines and accepted standards of best practice.

The incumbent will provide scientific and technical support to maintain professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers, ensuring access to current medical and scientific information related to the products and therapeutic areas of interest.

Major Responsibilities:

• Support in assigned clinical studies and medical projects for the assigned areas in line with the applicable local laws, guidelines, codes of practice, and applicable SOPs.
• Maintain contacts with physicians and Key Opinion Leaders of the assigned geographic area in order to educate them for scientific knowledge. Provide them with scientific and technical support for publications of scientific or medical interest.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.), where requested.
• Participate in the selection process to identify appropriately qualified physicians the Company would wish to engage in collaborative efforts – such as potential research collaborations, or lecture/meeting support for Round Tables, Congresses, Symposia, etc., ensuring a high level of scientific or educational integrity in these collaborative efforts.
• Attend relevant Scientific meetings and Conferences/Congresses and develop market awareness to communicate appropriately.
• Provide support for access to Company products on a named patient or compassionate use basis, subject to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure following-up on ICSRs with the reporter, generate follow up (FU) queries and send FU requests.
• Support sales/marketing/internal team areas to develop their scientific and technical expertise through the delivery of scientific update presentations. To assist with pharmacovigilance processes and trainings, as required.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine/Dentistry will be preferred. Degree in pharmaceutical sciences/Science Background can also be considered based on the credentials of the candidate.
• Minimum 2 years of similar experience in pharmaceuticals.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Management, Communication, and Compliance and Process Improvement Skills.

3️⃣ Chemical Manager – Quality Control

Job Summary:

Provide support to Quality Control Manager in managing QC activities related to Cleaning Validation, Computer System Validation, and Annual PQR process.

Major Responsibilities:

PQR (Product Quality Review):

• Prepare PQR (Product Quality Review) Annual plan and implement it in a timely manner.
• Collect PQR related data from all stakeholders, review and analyse data and prepare PQR report.
• Share PQR findings/observations/trends with respective sections and Senior Management for appropriate CAPA/recommendation.

Cleaning Validation:

• Preparation of Cleaning Validation Master Plan (CVMP), protocols and reports with worst case selection as per recent guidelines and products at site.
• To ensure Cleaning Validation activities related with Products, Processes, and Equipment.
• To provide support to QC in conducting glassware cleaning validation.
• Conduct Cleaning validation and revalidation via preparing cleaning validation protocols, relevant documentation as per Master plan.
• Perform and manage cleaning validation sampling activities along with QA support.
• Revision of cleaning validation schedule as per production and supply priority as per their request and consensus.

Computer System Validation:

• Prepare annual Computer System Validation Master Plan (CSVMP) of QC equipment and ensure adherence, prepare, and communicate monthly computer system validation plan to all stake holders.
• Prepare protocols and reports of computer system validation and to perform computer system validation activity accordingly.

General Responsibility:

• Review of applicable policies and align SOPs (related to PQR, cleaning validation, and computer system validation).
• Implementation and compliance of all the SOPs and applicable policies and procedures.
• To review and complete change control tasks with respect to Cleaning Validation, Computer System Validation, and PQR.
• To prepare impact assessment and risk assessment as or when required.
• To provide support to other sections/departments with respect stability program and any data required for to PQR, Cleaning Validation, and Computer System Validation.
• To review AQR LL, HPR and other quality projects for assessment and actions related to above-mentioned sections.
• To participate in self-inspection, Regional, Divisional and AQR Audits as an SME of above-mentioned sections.
• To implement Audit CAPAs of above-mentioned sections in timely manner.
• Any other responsibility, assigned by Quality Control Manager or Head of Quality Assurance.
• As an SME support will be provided to Stability Section when required.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• M.Sc. Chemistry / Pharm-D.
• 8-10 years’ experience in the same capacity.
• Knowledge of requirement for QC/QA activities, Cleaning Validation, Computer System Validation problem resolution skills and other all activities taking place in QC/QA including knowledge of Annual product quality review.
• Knowledge regarding Validation and Facility etc.
