Akram Wali Mohamad Elected President of American Business Council of Pakistan

The American Business Council of Pakistan (ABC) has announced the unanimous election of Akram Wali Mohamad, Group Managing Director of Gerry’s Group, as President of the Council. The Executive Committee has also elected Asim Saeed, Managing Director of Shipco Transport Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., as Senior Vice President.

Akram Wali Mohamad, a graduate of the University of Houston, Texas, is regarded as one of Pakistan’s leading business figures with extensive experience spanning aviation, logistics, travel, and food & beverage sectors. His leadership at ABC is expected to strengthen economic and trade relations between Pakistan and the United States while fostering investor confidence and advancing shared priorities.
