Raja Irfan Ahmed Appointed as General Manager Retail Sales & Development at Lucky Petroleum

Raja Irfan Ahmed has taken on the role of General Manager – Retail Sales & Development at Lucky Petroleum.

With over 24 years of leadership in the downstream energy sector, he brings a wealth of experience in retail network transformation, business growth, and strategic development across Pakistan, Africa, and international markets.

He began his professional journey with Shell, spending 16 formative years in key roles across retail operations, network development, and strategic growth initiatives — building a strong foundation in operational excellence and customer-centric energy solutions.

Prior to joining Lucky Petroleum, he was associated with PetroRetail Strategy Partners Limited (UK), a consultancy firm providing strategic advisory services to the energy sector. Though operating remotely, this role further broadened his exposure to global retail trends and strategic best practices within the downstream industry.

He also held leadership positions as Head of Retail Sales & Network Development at Conoil PLC (Nigeria) and Flow Petroleum (Pvt) Limited, where he spearheaded large-scale retail expansion, network optimization, and business turnaround projects.

His diverse international experience and consistent record of results continue to position him as a driving force in energy leadership and transformation.
