Ather Iqbal Promoted to Manager Digitalization Project at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited

Ather Iqbal steps into the role of Manager Digitalization Projects at FFC, bringing over three decades of diverse experience in chemical engineering, process optimization, project development, and advanced plant technologies. His career reflects leadership across digital transformation, business development, engineering strategy, and large scale ammonia and urea plant operations.

His current mandate centers on driving FFC’s digitalization journey in both business processes and plant process automation. He is leading the implementation of ASPEN Tech DMC 3 APC, working closely with global experts from Optiment, AspenTech, and Yokogawa. This initiative includes completed APC deployment at FFC MM and upcoming ventures such as RTO implementation and digital upgrades at FFC GM and PQ.

Ather’s earlier roles span leading multidisciplinary feasibility studies for large scale industrial ventures including mining, renewable energy, logistics, and manufacturing. His extensive process engineering background covers FEED studies, debottlenecking, process design improvements, and operational support across complex fertilizer plants.
