Umair Anwar Appointed as Financial Reporting Governance and O2C Lead at Haleon

Umair Anwar has stepped into a new leadership role as Financial Reporting Governance and O2C Lead at Haleon, bringing over seven years of strong experience across commercial finance, financial planning, governance, and business partnering.

A qualified ACMA and CGMA, Umair has built a solid career across leading organizations, including Getz Pharma, EBM, National Foods Limited, and PSO. Most recently, he served as Finance Business Partner Commercial at Getz Pharma, where he supported strategic decision-making, commercial performance analysis, and financial planning. Prior to this, he held progressive roles at EBM as Assistant Manager and Manager Financial Planning and Budgeting, driving profitability analysis, budgeting, ROI assessments, and key account financial management.

Earlier in his career, Umair contributed significantly at National Foods Limited as a Commercial Analyst, focusing on channel profitability, distributor optimization, and working capital management. He began his professional journey at PSO as a Credit Control Officer, gaining strong exposure to receivables management, credit risk assessment, and financial controls.

Academically, Umair is an Associate Member of CIMA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts and Finance from Karachi University. Known as an effective team player with strong communication and analytical skills, he continues to add value through leadership, financial insight, and operational excellence.
