Furqan Shafique has been promoted to Assistant Vice President at Bank Alfalah Limited, marking an important milestone in his professional journey in banking risk management.

Furqan has developed strong expertise in regulatory reporting, IRRBB, LCR, NSFR, Basel frameworks, and asset liability management. His work primarily focuses on monitoring and managing liquidity risk exposures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.

At Bank Alfalah Limited, he plays a key role in overseeing liquidity risk management, monitoring key liquidity indicators, preparing risk reports, supporting stress testing and scenario analysis, and contributing to capital and balance sheet risk assessments.
