Job Overview:

We are seeking highly competent and experienced professionals for multiple positions with 8+ years of hands-on experience in refinery operations. The incumbents will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of refinery process units while optimizing plant performance, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize refinery unit operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant performance.
• Analyze operational parameters and recommend corrective actions to improve throughput, energy efficiency, and product quality.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Technical Services, Inspection, and HSE teams to ensure smooth refinery operations.
• Lead operational troubleshooting activities and provide technical support during plant upsets, shutdowns, startups, and emergencies.
• Review daily operating data, process trends, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure strict compliance with refinery operating procedures, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in refinery turnaround planning, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
• Support implementation of process optimization initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend sustainable corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an HEC recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in refinery operations or downstream oil & gas industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of refinery operation of process units such as CDU/VDU, Lube units, Hydrotreater, Platformer, Isomerisation, Tank farm, Utilities, and Offsites.
• Skills: Experience in process monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and plant performance analysis.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems and refinery operational procedures.
