Contract / Commercial Manager – Power Generation
Location: Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi

Qualification and Experience:
Education: LLB, MBA, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience. Experience in the Power Sector will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Prerequisites:
Review, draft, negotiate, and administer EPC, O&M, OEM, and other project-related contracts for Power Generation and Renewable Energy projects (Wind, Solar, BESS, Transmission & Substations).
Develop a strong understanding of EPC, O&M, and OEM contract structures and commercial frameworks.
Review tender documents, conduct compliance assessments, and identify contractual, commercial, and financial risks.
Coordinate, prepare, review, and negotiate contractual frameworks and agreements with OEMs.
Strengthen costing structures through effective coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and OEMs.
Identify contractual obligations, liabilities, risks, claims, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate and manage insurance policies, bank guarantees, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, and other contractual securities.
Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Project teams on contract-related matters.
Maintain contract records, monitor contractual milestones, manage amendments, claims, and renewals.
Ensure compliance with applicable NEPRA regulations, CPPA-G requirements, and Pakistan power sector frameworks.
Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions and international contracting practices will be considered a strong advantage.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Renewable Energy projects, including Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Transmission, and Substation projects.
