PAF Medical Branch Jobs 2026 Overview
PAF is offering multiple positions for specialists and General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs). Candidates with recognized medical qualifications and professional experience are encouraged to apply.

Available Positions in PAF Medical Branch
1. Specialists (SPSSC)
Candidates with specialization in the following fields can apply:

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold specialization degrees such as FCPS, FRCS, MRCP, MRCS, FRCR, FRCA, Diplomate of American Board, or equivalent recognized credentials.
2. General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs)
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS degree with at least First Division
- Degree recognized by PMDC
- Minimum one-year house job completed
- Age limit: 25 to 35 years (as of 15 October 2026)
- Pakistani nationality (Male/Female)
Candidates who have cleared FCPS-I after December 2025 are also eligible. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience.
Training Details
Selected candidates will undergo 24 weeks of professional training at PAF Academy Asghar Khan. This training prepares candidates for a disciplined and high-standard medical career within the Air Force.
PAF Selection Process
The recruitment process includes multiple stages:

- Academic Test (Medical Subjects)
- Initial Medical Examination
- Physical Test
- Initial Interview
- Psychological Test
- Interview by AHQ Selection Board
- Final Medical Examination (CMB)
- Final Selection on Merit
Only candidates who successfully pass all stages will be selected.
Ineligibility Criteria
Candidates will not be eligible if they:
- Have been rejected multiple times by ISSB or selection boards
- Have been dismissed from government or armed forces service
- Have criminal records
- Are medically unfit (including Hepatitis B or C)
- Submit forged or incomplete documents
