Asad Ahmad Appointed as DGM II – Head of EDN at HBL

Asad Ahmad has embarked on an exciting new chapter with his appointment as DGM II – Head of Enterprise Data Network (EDN) at HBL.

Bringing more than 𝟮𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of expertise in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, data center operations, and IT infrastructure, Asad has consistently led large-scale digital transformation and network modernization initiatives across Pakistan’s banking sector.

Prior to joining HBL, he served as Head Enterprise Data Network & Security at JS Bank, where he spearheaded strategic network transformation, Zero Trust architecture adoption, and enterprise security initiatives. His distinguished leadership journey also includes senior roles at Faysal Bank Limited, Habib Metropolitan Bank (Subsidiary of AG Zurich), and UBL – United Bank Limited, making him one of the industry’s most accomplished technology leaders.
