Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar or closely related role.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- 1- Ensure strong knowledge of customs rules, including compliance with SROs and Import Policy Orders.
- 2- Verify import documents including LCs, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, invoices, packing lists, insurance documents, etc.
- 3- Ensure documentation accuracy for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
- 4- Handle machinery and project customs clearance.
- 5- Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, port authorities, and government bodies.
- 6- Maintain strong computer literacy skills for documentation and reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- 1- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and import procedures.
- 2- Experience in import documentation and verification.
- 3- Familiarity with machinery and project imports clearance.
- 4- Strong liaison and coordination skills with regulatory authorities.
- 5- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
- 6- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
