McCall MacBain Scholarships 2027 Open for International Students in Canada
Applications have officially opened for the prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarships 2027, offering outstanding students from around the world the opportunity to pursue graduate studies at McGill University in Canada.
Recognized as one of Canada’s most competitive scholarship programmes, the initiative aims to support future leaders who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to creating positive change in their communities.
The scholarship is open to Canadian, American, and international students applying for eligible master’s and professional degree programmes. Selected candidates will join a global network of scholars and benefit from mentorship and leadership development opportunities throughout their academic journey.
The McCall MacBain Scholarship offers comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition and mandatory fees for the entire duration of the programme. In addition, recipients receive a monthly stipend of CAD 2,300 during academic terms to support living expenses. Scholars are also provided with relocation assistance to Montreal and access to structured leadership training and mentorship programmes.
To be eligible, applicants must meet specific academic and age criteria. Candidates include those currently completing their bachelor’s degree by August 2027, recent graduates within the past five years, or individuals aged 30 or younger who completed their degree earlier. Beyond academic excellence, the selection process places strong emphasis on leadership experience, community involvement, and a demonstrated commitment to impact.
For the 2027 intake, up to 30 full scholarships will be awarded, along with nearly 100 entrance awards for high-achieving candidates who reach advanced stages of the selection process. Applicants will undergo a rigorous evaluation process, including application review, interviews, and leadership assessments.
International applicants must submit their applications by August 2026, while candidates from Canada and the United States have a deadline in September 2026. Successful applicants will begin their studies at McGill University in Fall 2027.
