Waqas Ahmed Mahar Appointed as HoD Research – SADA at NUST

Waqas Ahmed Mahar continues to advance academic leadership and research excellence as Head of Department of Research at the School of Art, Design and Architecture (SADA), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). As an architect, urbanist, and academic, he brings extensive international experience and specialized expertise in sustainable architecture, climate-responsive design, urban resilience, and energy-efficient buildings.

Alongside his role as Professor at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Dr. Mahar contributes to postgraduate research supervision, curriculum development, and architectural consultancy. His research-driven approach focuses on improving the built environment, advancing sustainable development, and enhancing human well-being through innovative architectural solutions.
