Muhammad Yasin Appointed as Unit Head Operations at Zarai Taraqiati Bank
Muhammad Yasin has been appointed as AVP, Unit Head Operations at Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Head Office Islamabad, bringing over 21 years of diversified banking experience to this critical leadership role.
In his current capacity, he oversees Allied and Field Operations across Pan Pakistan zones, ensuring effective reconciliation of GL heads, monitoring suspense and sundry accounts, supervising ATM, ADC, Raast and interbank transaction settlements, and maintaining strict compliance with SBP regulations including KYC, AML and CFT frameworks. His responsibilities also extend to branch operations governance, RTGS approvals, currency management reporting, and strategic coordination for branch openings, mergers, and relocations.
Prior to joining Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Muhammad Yasin served as Branch Operations Manager at The Bank of Punjab, where he led comprehensive branch supervision and operational controls. He also dedicated more than 16 years to Askari Bank, holding multiple key positions including Senior Branch Supervisor, Incharge Foreign Trade, Clearing, Remittances, Accounts, and Account Opening, reflecting his strong command over end to end banking operations.
Academically, he holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and a BCom from University of the Punjab, strengthening his professional expertise with solid financial acumen.
His appointment reflects deep operational knowledge, regulatory understanding, and a consistent record of leadership in banking excellence.
