Azhar Iqbal Bangash Appointed as AVP – Data Scientist at Mobilink Bank

Azhar Iqbal Bangash has joined Mobilink Bank as Assistant Vice President, Data Scientist. In his new role, he will drive enterprise AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and data science initiatives to strengthen innovation and data driven decision making across the bank.

Prior to this, Azhar served at easypaisa digital bank, where he led automation, data science, and business intelligence initiatives, delivering impactful analytics and AI powered solutions. His diverse experience also includes roles in data analytics, automation, and technology.

Holding a Master’s in Data Science from Bahria University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Azhar continues to advance innovation at the intersection of AI, analytics, and digital banking.
