We are currently hiring for two key positions in Sales and Internal Audit.

1. Territory Sales Manager – Trade

Job Description:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for defined segments.
• Drive incremental sales by adding relevant articles to customers’ baskets across dry food departments, such as D&T and S&C, which offer strong margin opportunities.
• Conduct pre-visit analysis of customer sales and buying trends, followed by gap analysis to assess objectives and outcomes after each visit.
• Continuously enhance market and competitor knowledge to support METRO in adapting its sales strategies accordingly.
• Define objectives and action plans for each customer.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Operations, to develop initiatives and customized solutions.
• Maintain detailed customer notes and tracking sheets to monitor customer development and progress.
• Prepare feasibility studies for business solutions and develop weekly plans according to portfolio priorities.
• Participate in team meetings and sales training sessions and contribute to a positive, high-performance sales culture.
• Monitor and follow up on key customer portfolio KPIs, including turnover, margin, frequency, etc.
• Attend relevant training programs to develop additional skills and competencies.
• Ensure regular follow-up on customer commitments made during visits or through phone calls.

2. Manager Internal Audit
Qualification: Qualified Accountant from ICMAP, ICAP Finalist, ACCA; or MBA Finance with CIA qualification. Additional qualification of CIA will be a plus.
Experience: Minimum three years professional work experience in Statutory Audit, Risk advisory services, or Finance in a reputable organization. Flexibility and willingness to travel.

Job Description:

• Help the company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Assist the Senior Manager/Division Manager Internal Audit in preparing the annual audit plan for risk-based audits and business monitoring.
• Conduct risk-based audits (Stores and Head Office) and consulting projects to ensure the organization is functional and the internal control system works properly.
• Obtain commitment to recommendations made in audit reports from concerned stakeholders.
• Perform follow-up reviews on implementation of audit recommendations.
• Lead/conduct Business Monitoring assignments as per the Annual Audit Plan.
• Obtain action plans from Stores for all low-performance areas highlighted during business monitoring.
• Prepare observation reports on annual and partial inventory counts to highlight deviations from standard procedures.
• Provide ongoing support to other departments regarding Standard Operating Procedures and other control issues.
• Perform special assignments given by Management.

Functional Skills:

• Knowledge of Operating Procedures/Internal Control System (ICS), Accounting rules, Revenue Laws, Corporate Laws, Corporate Governance.
• Result-oriented with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to add value to processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GMS.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to bring about changes in ICS through continuous updating of controls.
• Must be fluent in Urdu and English (both written and spoken).
